The Home With The Heart

Elsie's Place is a care home for female Alzheimer's patients offering a relaxed family environment for no more than six patients at a time. Located on a spacious wooded lot in north Raleigh, we offer individual care plans for each patient with home cooked meals and snacks and 24-hour care by a team that includes two staff members who have been at Elsie's the entire twenty years of its existence. A partnership with SHAE Medical group provides care in the home. Owner Gina Stavredes opened Elsie's Place in memory of her grandmother and her mother. She considers it an outgrowth of her own family's experiences and brings a fierce personal commitment to quality care, with the needs of both the patient and the patient's family in mind.
